Terms of use

nehruplaceonline.com is a directory of businesses in and around the Nehru Place district in New Delhi, and a catalog of the products they sell. We list shops; we do not sell anything ourselves, we do not hold stock, and we are not a party to any deal you make with a shop you found here.

Anyone can browse without an account. An account is needed to list a shop, to ask for quotes, and to message a dealer.

This site is for people who buy and sell IT hardware as a business, and it is not for children. You must be at least 18 to create an account, and creating one is your statement that you are.

We do not knowingly hold a child’s data. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18 we close it and delete what is on it — we do not ask for a parent’s consent instead, because there is nothing on this site a child needs.

Nobody on this site is profiled or shown behavioural advertising, whatever their age.

If you believe a child has an account here, tell our Grievance Officer and we will deal with it.

You choose at signup whether you are here to buy or because you run a shop. You can change that later, and being a seller costs nothing.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has it.

One shop per account for now. If you run more than one business, contact us.

You may only list a business you actually own or are authorised to represent. Listing someone else's shop, or a shop that does not exist, gets the listing removed and the account closed.

Everything you put in a listing — name, address, floor, phone, hours, categories, photos — is published publicly and is meant to be found by search engines. Do not put anything in a listing that you would not put on your shop's signboard.

You can edit your listing at any time, free, from your dashboard. New listings and some edits are reviewed by staff before they appear; that is how the directory stays worth trusting.

Keep it accurate. A wrong price or a stale phone number is the single most common complaint about directories like this one, and repeatedly inaccurate listings get de-ranked or removed.

Counterfeit goods, stolen goods, and anything you cannot legally sell.

Listings that impersonate another business, or that copy another shop's details.

Abuse, harassment, and spam — in listings, in reviews, and in messages.

Attempts to manipulate ranking or reviews.

Prices, stock, warranty, delivery, invoices and after-sales support are the shop's responsibility, not ours. We show what dealers tell us and what we can verify; we do not guarantee it.

Check goods before you pay. A verification badge on this site means we checked specific documents at a point in time — it is a signal, not a warranty, and what each badge covers is explained on the shop's page.

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to show it on this site and in search results, and to resize and re-encode it so it loads quickly.

Do not upload photos you do not have the right to use. Photographs of a product taken from a manufacturer's website are the most common version of this mistake.

We will change these terms as the site grows. The version and date are shown at the top of this page; material changes will be told to account holders rather than quietly swapped in.

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.
