Refunds and cancellation

We take money for two things — a paid plan and an advertising placement — and nothing here renews on its own. This is what happens when you want to stop, and when we owe you money back.

Version 2026-08-14

Try it before you pay for it

A basic listing is free, it stays free, and it is not a trial. You can list your shop, appear in the directory, receive leads and use the free monthly credits without giving us a card at any point.

We say this first because it is the honest answer to most refund requests: everything a paid plan does more of, the free plan already does some of. Nobody has to buy this to find out what it is.

What you are actually paying for

Two things, and only two: a subscription to a paid plan, and advertising placements. We do not take payment for goods. When you buy a laptop from a dealer you found here, that money goes to the dealer, on whatever terms the two of you agree — we are not a party to it, we take no cut of it, and there is nothing for us to refund.

If a purchase from a shop goes wrong, this page is not the one you want. Raise a dispute against the shop, or use the grievance route if the complaint is about us.

Nothing renews on its own

Each paid period is bought once, deliberately. We do not store a mandate, we do not auto-charge a card, and no money leaves your account again unless you choose to buy another period.

So there is nothing to cancel in the usual sense. If you stop paying, the plan simply ends when the period you paid for ends, and your listing drops back to the free tier rather than disappearing.

You keep what you paid for until it runs out

If you decide mid-period that you do not want to continue, your paid features stay available until the last day of the period you already bought. We do not switch anything off early.

We do not give partial or pro-rated refunds for the unused part of a period. That is the trade for a plan you were never locked into: nothing renews, so the most you can ever be out is the one period you chose to buy.

When we will refund you

If a fault on our side stopped you using a paid feature for more than seven consecutive days, and our support could not fix it, we refund that period. You do not have to argue the point — the outage is on our side and so is the evidence.

This is the exception the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require us to honour, and we would rather state it plainly than make you find it. It covers our failures. It does not cover a change of mind, a plan that turned out to be more than you needed, or a dealer who disappointed you.

Advertising

An advertising placement that never ran, or ran for less time than you bought, is refunded for the part that did not run. Placements are counted by impressions we serve, and those numbers are in your dashboard rather than in an email from us.

A placement that ran and did not perform is not refundable. We sell the placement, not the outcome, and we will not pretend otherwise to make a sale.

How to ask

Write to us with the payment reference from your invoice and one line about what went wrong. We answer every request within seven working days, and we tell you the reason when the answer is no.

Approved refunds go back to the same method you paid with, because that is the only route the payment gateway offers and the only one that is safe for both of us. Banks usually take five to seven working days after we release it, which is not a step we control.
